Ben and I are going to an open mic night this Sunday in Twickenham. The address is The Red Cow pub, 59 Sheen Road, Richmond, TW9 1YJ. Starts at 8pm and there’ll be some great live music for a relaxing Sunday night. Ben and I are going to try out some new arrangements. Flight of the Bumble Bee being one of them!! Well, a few months have gone past in 2010 already and I’ve been working on new material as well as travelling the globe with my other job at the Royal Albert Hall. Just in the process of organising more gigs and will updated very soon.

Really pleased to be asked back to support Heather Small this November for a few dates… so if you’d like to come along here are the details for each of the five gigs that I’m doing:

Saturday 14th November - Chichester Festival Theatre

Wednesday 18th November - Buxton Opera House

Thursday 19th November - Malvern Theatre

Monday 23rd November - Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham

Tuesday 24th November - The Winter Gardens, Margate

Really excited to be performing again and we’ll be trying out some new material! hope to see you there and let me know if you’re coming.

Troubadour gig - Earl’s Court - Wednesday 11th November 2009

Going to be playing at the famous Troubadour in Earls on Wednesday 11th November. Tickets are £6 on the door. All other details can be found on the website http://www.troubadour.co.uk/ Will be trying out some new material ready for the Heather Small tour. All very exciting!

Heather Small tour as support act….

Well last night saw the end of what was a fantastic couple of weeks for me playing as the support act for Heather Small. I took along with me Ben Eales (guitar), Andi Skipsey (bass) and drummer Simon Hargreaves. We had the most amazing time and it was so sad to see the end of it all. What was fabulous is that everyone came and in and listened to us. Also my music seemed to go down really well! What more can we ask for?
Thank to all of you who have sent me messages to say how much you enjoyed it - it really does mean a lot.

Nordoff-Robbins gigs!

January was a great month as we did two gigs for Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy. One was in the therapy centre in North London which was such good fun. We had a whale of a time and everyone was so friendly. We then played at the Six Nations Rugby dinner which was a ompletely different experience but brilliant too. Had lots of fun spotting rugby players (although I didn’t really know much about them!).

We are delighted to be playing at the Flutewise Live event at the Barbican on the 3rd May. I’m honoured that some of the best flute players in the world will be taking part in the event to include Ian Anderson.
